Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation Koshi Provincial Office, Biratnagar has clarified that the branch office, Charali, Jhapa has not hired new employees. Although wage workers were hired in the past, now the work is decreasing and new employees have not been kept in place of the old employees.
According to a press release issued by the Office, “Wage/temporary workers have been employed for various jobs on the basis of need assessment, but they have not been employed since 2081/10/01, the posts of employees have been filled according to the permanent posts in the office and the current workload in terms of service delivery and performance is relatively low. We would like to clarify to all the concerned bodies about the non-disclosure. ’
According to the office, allocation and approval of the budget from the central office is essential regarding the appointment of wage workers, payment of daily wages and wages.
The office has requested all the stakeholders to take care of the decision-making of the appointment and management of daily wage workers as the decision-making authority does not fall under the jurisdiction of the branch office and on this basis, the entire process of taking decisions on the issue of workers who are not currently called to work is based on the policy, approval and resources of the central office. ।
