Kathmandu. Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia President Anil Pokharel has met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
In the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar last night, Chairman Pokharel informed that NRNAs in Nepal want to increase investment in Nepal and that they discussed creating an investment-friendly environment for that.
‘The Prime Minister discussed the contribution made by the Nepali community to the Australian economy as well as the impact of the Nepali community there on the economy of Nepal,’ said Chairman Pokharel. He said that on that occasion, discussions were also held on the utilization of the trade and investment promotion framework, expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries, and high-level visits.
According to Chairman Pokharel, discussions were also held with the Prime Minister on organizing the integrated annual general meeting of the NRNA.
