Kathmandu. NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited is going to issue and sell a total of 12,843,724 units of ordinary shares, representing 100 percent of the paid-up capital, i.e., in the ratio of 1:1. The company has appointed Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited as the issue and sale manager.
Lekhnath Pokharel, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited, and Hemant Basyal, Chief Executive Officer of NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited, signed an agreement regarding the issue and sale management.
With the agreement, the 1:1 ratio rights issue of NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited, approved by the Annual General Meeting of the Financial Year 2080/81, will be managed by Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited. .
This NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited was registered with the Office of the Registrar of Companies on 2069/05/31 and has been doing investment-related work/business in various hydropower, tourism, hotel, insurance, communication and other projects in line with its objectives.
The founding shareholders of this company are distinguished personalities who have been involved in electricity, banking/finance, education sector and national and international trade/business as well as management for a long time.
Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nepal SBI Bank Limited. It has been providing investment management services, securities issuance and sales management services, securities purchase and underwriting services, beneficiary account operation services, institutional consulting services, and share registrar services, after obtaining a license from the Securities Board of Nepal.
