Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that delay in development projects is a bigger crime than corruption. Prime Minister Oli made the remarks while laying the foundation stone of the ‘One Constituency, One Road’ of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure of the Madhes State Government on Sunday.
According to him, 10 percent of the cost of the project is due to corruption, but the cost of the project increases by 100 percent due to delay in development works. Prime Minister Oli said that the government was serious not only in controlling corruption but also in controlling delays.
Stating that this is the time for technology and AI, he said that development should be done in the movement of rockets and not by move to the left. He also claimed that the government was working to complete the development works on rocket movement.
“Delay is a bigger crime than corruption. Those who indulge in corruption will do 10 percent. But the cost of the project increases by 100 per cent due to delay. On the one hand, the cost of the project increases by 100 percent, on the other hand, thousands of percent of the achievements are being lost. Therefore, the focus is not only on controlling corruption. The government will also pay strict attention to control delays. This is the era of technology and AI. In this era, we have to develop not by the move of the left, but by the rocket movement. Don’t move to the left. The government’s attention has been drawn to this. ’
He said the government was also planning to complete the under-construction cricket stadiums in Madhes province.
