Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has formally launched the facility of receiving international remittance directly in the account through mobile banking app ‘Mahalaxmi Smart Sathi’.
Under this facility, you can get money directly in your account by entering the details of the person sending money from outside Nepal, remittance agent and money transfer control number (MTCN) in the bank’s mobile banking app.
According to the bank, the money sent from more than 100 international remittance companies can be easily received. With the addition of this facility, customers will now have to go to the remittance counter or payment agent to receive the remittance amount, do not have to sit in line and save time.
With the addition of this facility, the bank believes that its digital banking service will be more customer-friendly and technology-centric. This bank, which is at the forefront of development banks in Nepal in the field of digital innovation, has become the first development bank among the development banks to provide such remittance services by integrating it with the mobile banking app.
