Kathmandu. Questions have been raised in Parliament about the lack of progress in the constituency strategic roads initiated by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure for a long time.
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, NCP (Unified Socialist) MP Bhanubhakta Joshi drew the government’s attention to the lack of progress in such roads.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the files would not be stopped for more than seven days, but the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure said that the files related to 12 concrete bridges had not progressed.
He said, “The work on the constituency strategic roads initiated by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure has not progressed for a long time. Why has the government not paid attention to it?” I would like to draw your attention.’
He said that other irrigation schemes in Bajhang district have not even started. Joshi also accused government officials of trying to divert the budget allocated for those schemes.
