Kathmandu. CPN (UML) Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has said that the five-point proposal sent by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSSP) would not be discussed. He said this while talking to reporters at the premises of the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor on Wednesday.

Stating that the five-point agreement of the RSSP could not be reached under any circumstances, he claimed that the Maoist Centre had agreed with the draft.

He said thursday’s parliament session was called in the afternoon as the opposition parties had sought a day’s time to discuss again. He expressed confidence that the opposition parties would try to reach a consensus on the two-point proposal of the Maoist Centre. He said parliament could not be disrupted for a long time even if there was no consensus with the opposition.

“There is no discussion on the five-point proposal sent by the RSP. We agree that the Maoists have sent the draft along with it. The opposition parties have sought time to hold another discussion tomorrow. For this reason, the parliament meeting has also been scheduled at 3 pm. You may try to agree on the two-point agreement of the Maoists, which we have also agreed to. If not, parliament cannot be disrupted for a long time. Parliament moves forward. ‘

Opposition parties including CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (NCP) have been obstructing parliament demanding the home minister’s resignation after home minister Ramesh Lekhak was linked to the visit visa issue. Accordingly, wednesday’s Meeting of the House of Representatives was also disrupted. The RASTRIYA Prajatantra Party (RSP) has put forward a five-point proposal to end the deadlock in parliament.
