NMB Bank’s 12th Heritage Walk program concludes, over 700 participants

Kathmandu. NMB Bank’s 12th Heritage Walk program has been completed. The bank has organized the program with the aim of promoting cultural heritage and increasing literacy for the historical and social transformation of the country, along with the immense potential of a prosperous Nepal.

NMB Bank Limited, in collaboration with Nepal Heritage Society, has completed the program with the participation of approximately 700 people including bank employees, employees of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, members of Nepal Heritage Society and the general public.

Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Mayor Surendra Shrestha was present as the chief guest of the program. In this program, NMB Bank, under its corporate social responsibility, has provided Rs. 500,000 to Nepal Heritage Society for heritage and environment protection, along with handing over dustbins to Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.

Similar programs have been conducted in all seven provinces.

The bank has provided assistance from East Bus Stand to Pau Pathibhara Temple in Jhapa in Koshi Province, from Birgunj Branch to Sankaracharya Gate in Madhesh Province, from Lions Chowk to Harihar Temple in Chitwan, from Lakeside Branch to Ram Mandir Birauta in Gandaki Province, from Bhalwari Branch to Moksha Dham Sewa Ashram in Lumbini Province, from Birendranagar Branch to Kakre Bihar in Karnali Province. The Heritage Walk program has been completed from the Green Godavari Resort to the Godavari Shiva Temple in the Far West Province.
