Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank is going to issue preference shares. The bank is going to issue AIC Asia non-redeemable non-reserve preference shares worth Rs 5 billion at a par value of Rs 100 per share.
The bank has called a general meeting to approve the preference share proposal. The board of directors meeting held on Magh 28 has called for the 27th annual general meeting to be held on Falgun 22 at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.
The meeting will pass a proposal to increase the authorized capital of the bank from Rs 14.92 billion to Rs 19.92 billion, and the issued and paid-up capital from Rs 14.91 billion to Rs 19.91 billion.
The bank has stated that it will pass the report of the board of directors for the fiscal year 2080/81, the auditor’s report, and the financial statements of the subsidiary companies NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and NIC Asia Capital for the fiscal year 2080/81. .
The external auditor PKFTR Upadhyay & Company Chartered Accountants will be reappointed and their remuneration will be fixed for the financial year 2081/82.
