Kathmandu. Neshdo Samriddhi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has called for its annual general meeting. As per the decision of the company’s board of directors held on Falgun 13, the 6th general meeting has been called for Chaitra 10 at 11 am at Royal Resort Parbat.
The meeting will pass a proposal for 14.25 percent bonus shares of the current paid-up capital and 0.75 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
Since the paid-up capital will increase after the distribution of bonus shares, the meeting will pass a proposal to amend the company’s memorandum of association and regulations accordingly and to authorize the board of directors to do the necessary work for merger with other microfinance institutions.
The meeting will pass a proposal for the annual report of the last fiscal year, including financial statements. The meeting will pass the issue of appointing an auditor for the current fiscal year and determining his remuneration.
Also, the company has decided to close its books on Falgun 28 for the purpose of the general meeting and dividend distribution. Accordingly, only shareholders who have held shares till Falgun 27 will be able to participate in the meeting and receive dividends.
