NEPSE sees double-digit growth on first trading day of 2082 BS, trading volume exceeds 8.5 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by double digits on the first business day of BS 2082, i.e. on Baisakh 2. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2688.63 points, up 26.55 points.

On Tuesday, 2018 million 41 thousand 47 shares of 320 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of 8 billion 544 million 357 thousand 887 rupees.

Balepi Hydropower had the highest turnover on Tuesday. The company’s shares have collected 2 billion 12 million more. The company’s share price has reached Rs 229.70 per share.

On Tuesday, while the share price of 212 companies increased, the share price of 24 companies decreased.

Also, on Tuesday, the share price of 5 companies went through a positive circuit. The share price of Balefi Hydropower went through a negative circuit.
