Kathmandu. The National Bank is drawing 30 billion deposits today, Thursday. The National Bank is going to draw 30 billion deposits through the deposit collection device auction. After there was more liquidity in the banking system, the National Bank has been continuously drawing liquidity since the beginning of the current fiscal year 2081-82.
Currently, the total deposits have reached 6765 billion. Due to the increase in deposits, bidding is going on through the online purchase system. The interest rate will be determined through bidding, and the principal and interest of the deposit collection device auctioned today will be paid on Baisakh 3, 2082, the National Bank has informed.
The amount that can be bid will be up to the total call amount, dividing it by a minimum of 100 million rupees and a maximum of 50 million rupees. Only banks and financial institutions of category ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ licensed by the National Bank will be allowed to participate in the bidding.
