Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has announced 38 holidays for employees of banks and financial institutions for the year 2082. Today, Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the list of holidays.
The holidays include Dashain, Tihar, Chhath, Teej, various types of Lhosar, Fagu, New Year, Christmas, etc. The Rastra Bank has said that all employees will be given holidays on some festivals. In the case of some festivals, limited banking services will be provided for a limited period. The Rastra Bank has stated that only employees of the relevant caste or region will be given holidays on some holidays.
According to the mentioned holidays, 6 other days apart from the 32 days will be applicable only in cases where the government has decided to grant holidays. The Rastra Bank has also determined office hours and banking transaction hours. The office hours for the next year from Baisakh 1 to Kartik 15 and from Magh 16 to Chait Masant have been fixed from 10 am to 5 pm.
Similarly, the office hours for the period from Kartik 16 to Magh 15 have been fixed from 10 am to 4 pm. The office hours for every Friday this year will be from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
