Kathmandu. Nepal’s most trusted life insurance company, Nepal Life Insurance Company, has grandly concluded the ‘MDRT’ Achievers Award 2025.
95 agents who qualified for ‘MDRT 2025’ from January to the end of December 2024 have been honored. The program was jointly inaugurated by the company’s directors Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Shakti Kumar Golyan and Praveen Raman Parajuli, CEO of the company, by lighting the lamp.
Welcoming the program, Umapati Pokharel, National Sales Head of the company, congratulated all the honorees and said that the company is eager to honor more MDRTs in the coming year.
He urged all the agents to work together on a war footing, leaving no stone unturned, to bring insurance to the doorsteps of Nepalis with more energy in the coming days.
Praveen Raman, CEO of the company Parajuli, in his speech, said that the company was happy to organize a grand event. Nepal Life occupies about one-third of the insurance market and urged the company to strengthen its presence by expanding the access of insurance among the general public in the coming days.
Parajuli said that the backbone of this company is its agent friends and that Nepal Life has been successful due to their tireless hard work and dedication and that he is confident that it will be presented in the market even stronger and more powerful in the coming days. Chief Executive Officer Parajuli also said that the company is sensitive to the all-round development of agents.
Agents are companions of progress and considering their importance, he urged the general Nepali citizens to highlight the usefulness and relevance of insurance, and to move forward with a concrete action plan to make it tangible.
Speaking at the program, the chief guest of the program and the owner of this company, Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, congratulated the agents who qualified by fulfilling the criteria set by an international organization like MDRT and joined the program, and expressed his best wishes for the future.
The qualified agents will be given exposure at the international level. Urging everyone to take part, he said that such a program would help in interacting with international best practices in the insurance sector and would also help in formulating insurance-related policies in Nepal.
He openly praised all the agents who have succeeded despite the economic downturn in the global economy.
The use of artificial intelligence is increasing in every field and a situation has been created in which employment in various fields will be cut in the coming days, but since the work of insurance agents will never be displaced, they are in a very safe profession, and he urged that awareness of life insurance be spread among the general public, keeping in mind the dignity and glory of the profession.
In insurance He said that with the provision of risk-based capital and other provisions, challenges have increased and he is confident that Nepal Life workers will be able to turn this challenge into an opportunity and reach the peak of success.
Ganesh Adhikari, President of the Professional Insurance Agents Association Nepal Insurance Committee Nepal Life, thanked the company management for the grand and civilized program organized by the company and thanked and congratulated all the qualified MDRTs.
He appreciated the steps being taken by the company for the rights and interests of the agents and the insured and said that he is confident that he will receive similar support from the company management in the coming days as well.
Delivering the closing remarks at the program, the company’s Vice President Chief Executive Officer Amit Kumar Kayal thanked the organizing team for the successful completion of the program.
