Kathmandu. The National Assembly’s meeting on Sunday unanimously passed the Nepal Legal Practitioners Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081.
The proposal made by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasia to take a decision on the bill was unanimously approved in the meeting. Minister Chaurasia said that the main objective of the bill is to establish a Lawyers Academy.
He said that the bill also deals with determining the standards of the curriculum to be taught by educational institutions providing higher education in law or similar subjects.
