Kathmandu. The Nepal International Trade Fair, organized every year by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from 25th to 29th of Baisakh 2082 this year.
This year, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Bhutan will participate in the fair. Nepal International Trade Fair 2025 is the tenth edition. The fair will have a Made in Nepal pavilion and pavilions of commodity associations.
The fair is being organized as a calendar event with the support of the Government of Nepal/Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and the promotion of the Trade and Export Promotion Center and the co-organization of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Nepal Handicraft Federation, the federation has informed.
A total of more than 300 stalls will showcase domestic and foreign goods and services at the fair. Buyers from SAARC countries, China, Korea, Japan, and other countries will be invited to the fair.
According to the federation, the main attractions of the Nepal International Trade Fair will include Made in Nepal Show, handicraft products, products of commodity associations, as well as four-wheeled and two-wheeled electric vehicles (EV) vehicles. The fair also aims to provide direct interaction with international buyers.
The fair will have separate stalls for handicrafts, tourism information and technology and business information, agricultural products, energy, building and construction education, etc. During the fair, there will be meetings with business representatives from various countries and discussions on bilateral trade promotion and investment. This year’s fair is expected to be attended by about 20,000 domestic and foreign visitors.
Under the leadership of the Federation, this year, like previous years, it is being organized in various parts of the country at regional, district and commodity levels. The federation has stated in a press release that the best stalls and products in the fairs organized in various districts will be provided with free stalls at the NITF.
The federation believes that the regular organization of the Nepal International Trade Fair, which has created a unique identity at the national and international levels, will attract international investment and technology to Nepal, promote the international market of Nepali products, and help in uplifting the country’s economy as a whole.
The federation has informed that senior citizens and differently-abled citizens will be admitted to the fair free of charge and students will be given a fifty percent discount on the basis of their admission cards, and stall bookings will be opened from Chaitra 11, 2081.
