Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that Nepal’s land will not be used against China. He said this while addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday.
He clarified that Nepal is clear on the one-China policy and Nepal’s land will not be used against China. He mentioned that China has been supporting Nepal in areas including infrastructure development, trade, tourism, culture, climate change and environmental cooperation.
Expressing confidence that China will provide further assistance to Nepal’s development in the coming days, he said that the cultural, economic, social and historical partnership between the two countries has always been strong. Mentioning that Nepal and China have been cooperating in mutual cooperation and international relations, he said that equality, mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence have been maintained between the two countries.
President Deuba said, “Friendly country China has been supporting Nepal in areas such as infrastructure development, trade, tourism, culture, climate change, and environmental cooperation. I believe that China will continue to support Nepal’s development in the coming days. I am confident that today’s photo exhibition will further strengthen relations with China and take the relations between the two countries to greater heights. It will also deepen cultural and educational relations between the two countries and further strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation between the people of the two countries. Nepal has adopted Nepal’s political policy and China policy. I would like to assure you that Nepal’s territory will not be allowed to be used against our friendly country, China.’
President Deuba said that the friendly relations between Nepal and China have been unwavering and immortal since ancient times.
