Kathmandu. Nepal Bankers Association, Bagmati Province (Chitwan) Committee has organized various programs to celebrate Global Money Week – 2025, which is celebrated every year from March 17 to 23, in coordination with the National Bank, with the main slogan of “Global Money Week – 2025: प्रतजिष्ठिप दभयचभ थयग आयियध, धाश्कभ मैयलभथ तयम्यचचयधु”.
In this context, a large rally was organized today with the participation of various banks and financial institutions of A, B, C categories with the aim of increasing financial literacy and awareness among the youth. In addition, various programs were organized to promote financial literacy and expand access, as well as to increase awareness about the basic aspects of financial services.
Such programs are important to address the growing use of digital technology, the challenges it poses, and to increase the financial awareness of today’s young generation. This campaign has been conducted globally every year since 2012 in collaboration with the International Children’s Emergency Fund (ICFEF).
ICFEF has stated that about 60 million children, adolescents and youth in more than 176 countries around the world have benefited from this campaign so far.
