Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The government has promoted a major fighter to the rank of general of the Nepal Army. The government said it had decided to transfer 10 generals and accept the resignation of one general.
Announcing the government’s decision, government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, said the government has approved to present the revenue and expenditure estimates along with the budget statement of the government for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS to the federal parliament.
According to him, the government has decided to issue an informed order pursuant to Section 3 of the Occasional Tax Collection Act, 2012/83, a bill to provide for the right to collect national debts, a bill to implement the government’s finance proposal for the fiscal year 2082/83, an informed order as per Section 3 of the Occasional Tax Collection Act, 2012, and publish the information in the Nepal Gazette. ।
Similarly, the Value Added Tax (Twenty-seventh Amendment) Rules, 2082, the Excise (Twenty-seventh Amendment) Rules, 2082, the Income Tax (Sixteenth Amendment) Rules, 2082, the Customs (Sixteenth Amendment) Rules, 2082, the Customs Duty (First Amendment) Rules, 2082, and the Liquor (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2082 will be approved and its information will be published in the Nepal Gazette. It has been decided to approve the principle for the formulation of the bill related to road safety, approve the principle for the formulation of the bill related to postal service, and approve the principle for the formulation of the bill related to Gorkhapatra Sansthan.
The government has allowed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari to participate in a programme on ”Hands in Hand Investment Dialogue for Asia and the Pacific’ to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from July 19 to 27, 2019. The Cabinet has given approval to the Secretary of the Ministry of Forest and Environment to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (SB62) to be held in Germany from July 19 to 27, 2019.
