Kathmandu. Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Panta has said that the main challenge now is to stop the trend of people being ‘victimized’ through the media.

Speaking at a programme organized in Lalitpur on Friday, Minister Panta stressed the need to stop the increasing misuse of artificial intelligence (AI). He stressed the need to adopt the values and values of journalism to prevent the misuse of artificial intelligence (AI).

Artificial intelligence can be a destructive weapon when journalism cannot be done by sticking to the values and values of journalism, he said. Minister Panta said that strict adherence to the press code of conduct is necessary to end the tendency of the media to target individuals in an inappropriate manner.

“Of late, we are seeing people who have been victimized by the media both in Nepal and outside Nepal. Stopping this is the main challenge today. Ethics is the only way to stop the increasing misuse of AI. If we can stick to the values and values of journalism, AI can be helpful for us. If we don’t, it can be destructive and weapon. At that time it was very difficult to give birth to community radios. ’

Recalling the early challenges of community radio, Minister Panta said that the social responsibility of journalism is even more important in the present digital era.
