Kathmandu. Ncell has organized a friendly football match at the Lainchaur Sports Ground in Kathmandu on the occasion of the much-awaited Ncell Nepal Super League (NSL) starting on Saturday (Chaitra 16). The Nepal Sports Journalists Association team has emerged victorious in this friendly match involving three teams.
The first match of this match, played at the seven-a-side football ground, was between the Ncell team and a team of artists and models led by former national player and veteran footballer Anil Gurung. In this, the Ncell team defeated Anil Gurung’s team by a margin of 2-1 and 1 goal.
The final match of this tournament organized on the occasion of Ncell NSL was between the Nepal Khedukud Journalists Association team and the Ncell team. The Nepal Khedkud Journalists Association team won the final match 2-0.
Ncell is the main sponsor of this franchise football competition, NSL Season 3, which will start on Saturday and end on Baisakh 13, 2082. This season, seven teams from Nepal including Lalitpur City FC, Kathmandu Rangers FC, Pokhara Thunders FC, Butwal Lumbini FC, Dhangadhi FC, Jhapa FC and Chitwan will compete for the title.
