Kathmandu. Kathmandu: National PABSON Kathmandu District Committee has organized teacher training targeting pre-primary and primary level teachers at Texas College, Mitranagar.
A total of 327 teachers from 40 schools of Kathmandu participated in the training. Gita Chhetri Rana, founder chairperson of National PABSON and member of the Constituent Assembly, was the chief guest at the event.
Former Chairman of National PABSON Central Committee Rituraj Sapkota, Senior Vice President Surya Bahadur Adhikari, General Secretary Pratap Bahadur Thapa, Vice President Kumar Bhattarai, Vice President Dharmaraj Regmi, Texas College Principal Shyam Sundar Shrestha, Program Director Narayan Pokharel, Instructor Ashok Kumar Dahal, district and town committee office-bearers, and principals of various schools were present on the occasion.
During the training, teaching-learning methods, micro-teaching and teacher motivational workshops were conducted. Informing about the training, District Committee Chair Hom Bahadur Adhikari (Manoj) said that the training was conducted with the aim of practicing effective teaching methods targeting children at the elementary level.
National PABSON Kathmandu District President Adhikari presided over the programme.
