Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company has convened a general meeting. As per the decision of the board of directors of the company held on May 17, the meeting has called for the 37th Annual General Meeting at 10:30 pm on June 15.
The meeting will pass a proposal to adjust 10 percent cash dividend and 5 percent bonus shares and 0.789473 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The meeting will pass the financial statements including the annual report of the last fiscal year, auditor’s report and appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year and determine his remuneration. The meeting will also pass a proposal to approve the expenses incurred by the company in the last fiscal year and empower the board of directors to make necessary amendments to the company’s management letter and regulations.
The meeting will also elect three directors from the founding group ‘A’ category and two directors from the general investor ‘group ‘B’.
In addition, the company has decided to close the book for one day on June 15 for the purpose of meeting and dividend distribution. According to this, only the shareholders of NEPSE will be able to participate in this meeting of the company and receive the approved dividend.
