Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The National Assembly has unanimously passed the Customs Bill, 2080 BS. A meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday unanimously passed the bill received with a message from the House of Representatives.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel said the bill has been brought with the objective of controlling customs leakage and making customs management effective.
He said the bill would play an important role in making the customs service faster, faster and more effective.
Finance Minister Poudel said that necessary amendments would be made based on experience after the bill is implemented by taking the form of kanu.
