Kathmandu. National Assembly member Bamdev Gautam has drawn the attention of the government to come up with a plan to meet people’s expectations.
Taking part in the discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS (excluding the tax proposal) in today’s meeting of the National Assembly, he said, “If we are not able to build socialism, then another arrangement will come here, because we have aimed to go to socialism when the constitution is promulgated.” Let’s meet people’s expectations. ‘
Stating that the Communist Party of Nepal and the Nepali Congress, which played a leading role in promulgating the constitution through the Constituent Assembly, needed to think unitedly, Gautam urged them not to delay in declaring socialism as envisaged in the constitution.
