Kathmandu. Nabil Bank, nepal’s leading bank, has been awarded ‘The Bankers Technology Award 2025’ for the Asia-Pacific region. This award is given on the basis of innovation, digital agility and leadership ability in the banking sector.
Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Acting CEO of Nabil Bank, said that the award was given on the basis of nabil bank’s technology-friendly thinking, approach and evaluation of the work done in the digital revolution brought to the customer experience.
“This award has encouraged the bank to make its service more technology-friendly and customer-friendly,” he said.
Stating that Nabil Bank has given priority to technology since its inception, he said, “Nabil has been providing convenient service to the service seekers by adding a new dimension to the banking sector using technology. ‘
In recent times, the bank has also emphasized on sustainability by prioritizing digital services. The award was given to the bank for its efforts to provide easy, quick and transparent service through digital means by removing paperwork.
“Considering technology as the power of innovation, we have adopted a strategy focused on transformation, improving customer-friendly service delivery through artificial intelligence, data analytics and NBank app,” gyawali said.
He said that this award has inspired the bank to provide more agile and technology-centric services. Since its inception in 1984, Nabil Bank has started the use of technology in the banking sector in Nepal.
