Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry has honored Nabil Bank Limited as the highest tax-paying bank in a special program organized on the occasion of its 59th Annual General Meeting and Industry and Commerce Day, 2081.
In the program, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented the certificate of honor to the bank’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Gyawali. The bank was honored with a certificate in appreciation of Nabil Bank’s contribution to the country’s economy by paying the highest tax from the banking, financial institutions and insurance sectors in the fiscal year 2079/80.
The Government of Nepal also honored Nabil Bank with a certificate as the highest tax-paying bank from the banking, financial institutions and insurance sectors in the fiscal year 2079/80. Nabil Bank has previously been honored as the highest tax paying bank in the fiscal year 2079/80, fiscal year 2067/68, fiscal year 2070/71, fiscal year 2071/72, fiscal year 2073/74, fiscal year 2075/76, fiscal year 2076/77 and fiscal year 2077/78.
