With the completion of the four-lane blacktop along the road from Aanbukhaireni to Jamune, the construction company China Communication Construction organized a program in Bimalnagar, Bandipur Rural Municipality-4, Tanahun today to exchange happiness.
The said program was attended by representatives of the construction company, consultants, workers, and others. Bishnu Prasad Pandey, engineer of Muglin Pokhara Road Project (Eastern Section), informed that an informal program was organized and happiness was exchanged after the main work of blacktop was completed.
He said, ‘The blacktop of the four lanes from Aanbukhaireni to Jamune in the eastern section has been completed in the ‘double’ lane. The construction company has organized an informal program to celebrate the completion of the main work.’
According to Pandey, only minor work is left in the eastern section. Road safety, road marking and other works are also being done on the 41.5-kilometer section. He said that the blacktop work was completed in the last 456 days and three years since the agreement was signed. The deadline for this section is until Ashar 29.
The contract for the eastern section was signed on Magh 17, 2077 BS and work began on Baisakh 2, 2078 BS. The contract for the eastern section has been awarded to China Communication Construction. The road was made four-lane with the loan assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) after the traffic volume on the road, which was drawn up in 2026 BS, increased. The contract for the eastern section is worth 6.21 billion 3.13 million 13 thousand.
