Chitwan. Muglin Malekhu road section along the Prithvi Highway is to be upgraded by closing vehicular traffic at night. Vehicular movement is going to be stopped during the night from May 15 to June 15.
According to Kedar Prasad Nepal, chief of Nagdhunga Muglin Road Project (Western Section), the road is going to be closed for the installation of RCC beams at Barbang Khola, Mowa Khola, Khatoti Khola and Gomati Khola.
Stating that vehicular movement has to be stopped as heavy cranes have to be used to keep the beam, he said that all vehicles except essential vehicles will be closed from 10:30 pm to 3:00 am from Friday to June 7.
According to Nepal, heavy vehicles going from Malekhu to Muglin will be stopped at Muglin and light vehicles will be stopped at Kurintar. Similarly, heavy vehicles going from Malekhu to Muglin will be stopped at Malekhu and light vehicles will be stopped at Sheetalbazar. He informed that the stranded vehicles will be released only after 3:00 am.
