Kathmandu. Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman Mahindra Raya Yadav has said that the policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year are disappointing and ritualistic. He said this while participating in the discussion on the policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year in the House of Representatives meeting held on Wednesday.
He also said that there is confusion in the policies and programs and that it is not justified, and accused the current government of not being able to do so even though the previous government tried to understand the feelings of the Nepali people while discussing the policies and programs.
He also commented that the policies brought by the current government are discriminatory. He asked how the journey of socialism can be taken forward if various foundations cannot be laid down. Chairman Yadav reiterated the accusation that the current government is unnatural and based on intermediaries.
He said, ‘This policy and program is disappointing. It is confused. It is a ritual. It has no justification. The previous government used to discuss the feelings of the entire Nepali people through the methods and processes of the federal democratic republic. This time the government could not do that. This policy is discriminatory.’
‘The previous government used to formulate policies and programs and allocate the budget based on human indices, this time this policy does not seem to address it. If these foundations cannot be set, how can the journey of socialism be taken forward? I think this government is unnatural. At that time, the two-party government was formed according to Article 76 (2) of the Constitution, but after the two-party government failed, the Nepali Congress was in a position to form the government according to Article 3. This government was formed on the basis of intermediaries, he added.
He also commented that the policies and programs brought by the government have not been able to increase enthusiasm among the citizens.
