Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Deepak Giri has said that it is necessary to make Nepal a Hindu nation. Talking to media persons on Tuesday at the Parliament building premises, MP Giri said this.
He said that the opinion given by the people for the establishment of a Hindu nation was kept in a bag during the constitution-making process, and said that even though more than 80 percent of the citizens in Nepal had given their opinion in favor of a Hindu nation, manipulation was done.
He said, ‘The opinion given by the people during the constitution-making process is kept in a bag. Let it be opened. At that time, more than 80 percent of the people said that there should be a Hindu nation. There was no situation where anyone said to remove the Hindu nation. Many people wanted to see a Hindu nation all over the world. Even now, those records and opinions should be looked at. There is a dire need for a Hindu nation in Nepal.’
He said that Nepal needs to become a Hindu nation.
