Kathmandu. National Independent Party MP Hari Dhakal has criticized the government, saying that its policies and programs are a copy-paste of the past and include only tasks that cannot be done. He made this statement while participating in the discussion on the policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year in the House of Representatives meeting held on Thursday.
He satirized the government, saying that it would have been better if it had written that political vendettas are being carried out against new parties, and that Ravi Lamichhane, Resham Chaudhary, and others are being illegally controlled.
He sarcastically commented on the government’s need to include these issues in the policy and program, saying that there was an open debate about the widespread partyization of the nation, the capture of constitutional bodies, the transfer of the Rastra Bank to the Congress and the transfer of securities to the UML.
He said, ‘It’s amazing what’s happening here, that the impossible and the undone are being done.’ There is work to be written, and work not to be written. It would have been written here that political revenge is being taken against new parties, Ravi Lamichhane, Resham Chaudhary and others are being controlled illegally. It would have been written that the nation is being extensively partyized, constitutional bodies are being captured.’
‘Furthermore, there is an open debate saying that the Rastra Bank is part of the Congress. The chairman of the securities firm UML took it, that too, it would have been written. It would have been written that the party system is being continued. It would have been written that the party system is being taken to the ground. The creation of the House will be killed, accusations and counter-accusations will be debated, to the point that it will be debated that I did not steal the alcohol. “The House has been disappointed,” he said.
He commented that the policy and program are documents that provide continuity to the status quo.
