Kathmandu. Narayan Pokharel Foundation has collected Rs 40.44 million in cash from the pranpratishtha of Badri Narayan Dham at Ramkot of Nagarjun Municipality-7 in Kathmandu.
Treasurer of Badri Narayan Pran Pran Pratishtha Main Celebration Committee, Bhimsen Pokharel, informed that the amount was collected from donations, sale of urns and donation boxes.
Speaking at a programme organised by the Main Celebration Committee, Treasurer Pokharel said that rs 38.05 million was earned from donation receipts, Rs 1.43 7 million from donation boxes and Rs 1 million from mother power. Similarly, Rs 10.44 million has been spent on the pran pratishtha under various heads.
On the occasion, Chief Patron of Narayan Pokharel Foundation Dinbandhu Pokharel said that Badri Narayan Dham has been constructed to give the message that one of the four dhams is in Nepal.
Coordinator of Badri Narayan Pranpratishtha Main Celebration Committee, Jairam Lamichhane, said that the dham has played an important role in identifying Nagarjun Municipality. Apart from badri narayan temple, administrative building, office of Narayan Pokharel Foundation, yoga meditation center, havan kund, Panchayan temple with Ganesh, Sun, Goddess and Shiva will be constructed in this dham.
