Nepali entrepreneurs have spent 16.64 billion rupees 32.87 million rupees to purchase these EVs until the month of Falgun, while the Nepalese government has collected 10.22 billion rupees 11.66 billion rupees in revenue through this. .

Similarly, in 8 months, 1,775 EVs have been imported to Nepal from India, while 27 have been imported from Germany, 3 from South Korea (Republic of Korea), and 5 from the United States (US), according to the data. Low cost and easy financing have led to an increase in the use of electric vehicles.
By Falgun month of FY 2080/081, 6,435 EVs had been imported to Nepal. Through which Nepali businessmen had spent Rs 15.81 billion 97.59 million abroad. In the first eight months of the fiscal year 2080/081, the government collected a revenue of Rs 6.99 billion 26.3 million through EV imports.
