Jumla. 765 people have sought health services in a four-day free health camp including specialist services conducted in Tila Rural Municipality of Jumla.
261 people have been examined in a health camp conducted at Ghodemhadev Health Post from April 11 to 12. Similarly, Uttam Devkota, the ‘focal person’ of the Tila Rural Municipality Health Branch, informed that 504 people took services in the health camp conducted at the Kudari Health Post from April 13 to 14.
According to him, the health camp conducted in Tila Rural Municipality, conducted with the active participation of specialist doctors from the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, provided services related to gynecology, bone and nerve diseases, and general medicine.
Jayabahadur Budha of Tila-7 said that the locals received more relief than they expected from the health camp conducted with the support of the municipality and drew the attention of the concerned parties to organize such camps regularly.
Tila Rural Municipality Chairman Motilal Rokaya stated that free health camps were conducted as per the demands and suggestions of the local people and said that the municipality is in favor of conducting more health camps with specialist doctors in the coming days.
