Kathmandu. A total of 1,478,839 people have applied for the initial public offering (IPO) of Bikash Hydropower Company Limited.
A total of 1,478,839 people have applied for 18,224,320 units of shares so far. The company had issued a total of 2,942,760 units of shares to the general public.
Prabhu Capital Limited was the issue manager of the IPO. Investors can apply using c-ASBA member banks and financial institutions approved by the Securities Board of Nepal and my share online system. According to the company, the investors will get the application till July 30.
The Upper Machhakhola Small Hydropower Project, promoted by Bikash Hydropower Company, has come into commercial production with a capacity of 4.55 MW. According to the company, the electricity generated is currently connected to the national transmission system and is being sold.
