Money piled up in banks, NRB withdraws Rs 25 billion on Sunday

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank is going to raise 25 billion rupees from the market today (Sunday). After there is more liquidity in the market, the Rastra Bank is going to raise 25 billion rupees on Falgun 25.

The banks will get back the principal and interest of 25 billion rupees that the Rastra Bank is going to raise for a period of 21 days on Chaitra 17. The bank has stated that banks and financial institutions of category A, B and C can keep deposits with the Rastra Bank equal to the number of digits that remain after dividing by a minimum of 100 million and a maximum of 50 million.

The interest rate on the deposits placed by the banks in this way will be determined through bidding. That is, the Rastra Bank has stated that the Rastra Bank will accept the deposits of the banks and financial institutions that offer the lowest interest rate.
