Kathmandu. There is currently a partial influence of westerly winds in the country. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that the weather in the hilly areas of the country including Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, Sudurpaschim Province and other parts of the country is partly cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the country is mainly clear.
Today, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province, and light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
The Division has requested to adopt necessary measures and precautions to avoid the possible impact.
