Monday declared a public holiday across the country on the occasion of Eid

Kathmandu. The government has declared a public holiday today on the occasion of the Islamic festival of Eid.

According to Ram Chandra Tiwari, Spokesperson and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, today is a public holiday as per the notification published in the Nepal Gazette dated 29 Magh 2080.

It has been a tradition to celebrate the great Islamic festival of Eid-ul-Fitr with joy and happiness.
