Minister of State for Energy Purna Bahadur Tamang dismissed

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Oli Sharma has dismissed Minister of State for Energy Purna Bahadur Tamang. Prime Minister Oli has dismissed Tamang for engaging in anti-government activities.

Minister of State Tamang had uncooperatively supported Minister Deepak Khadka by siding with the then Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising.   Minister of State Tamang had also asked Energy Secretary Suresh Acharya for clarification. But Secretary Acharya refused to give his answer.

Minister of State Tamang was pressured to resign from within the party. But he refused to resign.
