Jumla. Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Yadav has monitored the drinking water projects under construction in the district. He arrived in Jumla on Saturday and inspected the Dhauligad Drinking Water Project under construction in Tatopani Rural Municipality-1.
In a discussion with media persons after monitoring the project, Minister Yadav expressed his commitment to solve various problems, including drinking water, that the locals of Jumla, including remote districts of Karnali Province, have been facing for years.
‘I got the opportunity to get first-hand information about the existing problems here.’ We will continue to work systematically to solve these problems,’ he said.
Minister Yadav, along with Secretary to the Ministry Engineer Pramila Devi Shakya Bajracharya, Director General of the Department of Drinking Water and Sewerage Management Engineer Ram Kumar Shrestha and other employees of the Ministry have reached here to participate in the housing conference to be organized today in Dewargaun, Hima Rural Municipality-1 of the district, to understand the problems related to drinking water here and identify solutions. The team also visited the country’s first Karnali Technical College, Jumla.
