Kathmandu. Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari has stressed the need to transform the agricultural system through collaboration and innovation among Asian countries.
Addressing the 7th General Assembly of the Asian Food and Agriculture Cooperation Initiative (AFASI) in Kathmandu on Friday, Minister Adhikari stressed the need to strengthen regional cooperation in sustainable agricultural practices and food security.
He said that cooperation in agriculture and food security is an important platform for innovation and mutual study among african Asian countries. He stressed the need for mutual cooperation and coordination to tackle common challenges such as climate change, food insecurity and rural livelihoods.
“Collaboration in agriculture and food security, innovation and mutual studies have become an important platform among african Asian nations,” he said. Since its inception, Afasi has made significant contributions to strengthening agricultural research, promoting the practice of sustainable farms and improving regional food systems. Your shared efforts are playing an important role in addressing common challenges such as climate change, food insecurity and rural livelihoods. This meeting is being held at that time.
