Kathmandu. Rural Development Microfinance Financial Institution Limited has convened a general meeting. As per the decision of the board of directors of the company held on June 15, the meeting was convened from 10:00 am at the central office, Butwal.
The meeting will pass the merger proposal between Rural Development Microfinance and Samaj Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited.
The meeting will pass a proposal to merge rural development and social microfinance with each other in a ratio of 1 to 1 unit share.
The Meeting will also pass a resolution authorising the Board of Directors to carry out all other necessary functions related to the merger.
Similarly, the company will pass a proposal to appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year by passing the financial statements of the last financial year and determining his remuneration.
For the general purpose, the company has decided to close the book for one day on June 15. According to a notice issued by the company, only the shareholders of The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) can participate in the book close till June 15.
