Bhojpur. A maternity building has been constructed at Kot at a cost of Rs 2.5 million with the efforts of Temkemaiung-6. Along with the construction of the building, preparations for service delivery have also started. According to ward chair Surya Prasad Nepal, the building has been constructed to expand health services in the areas where there is no basic infrastructure as the existing one ward has been divided into two wards with the implementation of federalism.
Ward member Prem Kumari Shrestha said that after the construction of the building, it would be mandatory to take the maternity service to the district hospital with a stretcher and doko for hours.
