Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chief whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi has said that the party would continue to disrupt the parliament until an inquiry committee is formed. He said this while talking to media persons after holding discussions with chief whips convened by Speaker Devraj Ghimire.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, in his address to parliament on Friday, made a threat presentation, he said. Stating that the RPP wanted an investigation into human trafficking, he said that the present Home Minister as well as the previous Home Minister should also come under the purview of the investigation.
“The Home Minister was presented in threatening language. We want to investigate human trafficking. An inquiry committee should be formed against this. We will continue the protest until an inquiry committee is formed. The current Home Minister and the previous Home Minister should also come under the purview of the investigation. We will continue our protest programmes demanding an inquiry committee until the Ministry of Home Affairs and the government form an inquiry committee. ’
