Mandatory pesticide testing before sale of fruits, meat and food

Kathmandu. Mandatory pesticide testing will be carried out before the sale of fruits, meat and food grains. Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said this while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2081/82 BS.

“Pesticide testing will be done compulsorily before the sale of fruits, meat and food grains. Arrangements will be made to test fresh vegetables and fruits through rapid poison testing method at the wholesale market center,” he said.
