To meet the 2025 tourism target, the government will provide investment incentives and other benefits to build resorts on islands that were previously unreachable and turn them into beautiful tourist attractions.

He said that the government is going to expand the international routes of the National Airlines Corporation to more destinations to increase tourist arrivals. President Muizzu also informed that additional wide-body aircraft will be purchased this October to attract tourists and that direct flights from the Maldives to European destinations will be made easier for European guests.
