Kathmandu. Defense Minister Manbir Rai said that everyone feels that Nepal is lagging far behind. Speaking at the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee meeting on Friday, he said this.
He mentioned that the failure to pass the Civil Service Act and the School Education Act so far has illustrated this situation. He expressed confidence that some things have been agreed upon in the bill and that agreement will be reached on the remaining issues where there is disagreement. He said that the issue of making the Civil Service Act is not a political issue but a common issue for everyone. He said that the government wants the laws to be passed quickly by resolving the problems.
Minister Rai expressed happiness that the Civil Service Act has reached the final stage.
