The provincial government has launched a sticker campaign on vehicles to make security checks, vehicle entry passes and tax fees for tourists hassle-free. The provincial government, which has stated that the tax that has been collected from place to place will be removed in coordination with the local level, has stated that there will be no unnecessary checks on vehicles carrying Indian tourists during the Visit Year 2082.
The Koshi Province Minister for Tourism, Forest and Environment, Sadananda Mandal, said that a travel facilitation campaign has been taken forward by establishing tourist-targeted desks at the border points of Koshi Province, including Rani in Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa and Pashupati Nagar.
Minister Mandal said that all the procedures, including checking, will be completed at one place through the desk and stickers will be affixed to the vehicles. In the case of vehicles carrying tourists with stickers, there will be no restrictions or obstacles except for security reasons until they reach their destination and return.
Koshi Province is celebrating 2082 as the Tourism Year. The provincial government, which has set a goal of attracting 1.6 million more tourists by promoting the beautiful places within the province, is launching various programs targeting Indian tourists.
Accordingly, with the aim of making the travel of tourists easy and hassle-free, the Nepali side has set up desks at the border posts of Koshi Province, which borders India, and has taken forward the sticker campaign.
