Bagmati. The Transport Management Office, Hetauda, Makawanpur has collected more than 291 million rupees in revenue during the six months of the current fiscal year 2081-82. Office Chief Pravin Shrestha informed that the office collected Rs 293.82 million from the issuance of new vehicle registrations, renewals and driver’s licenses during the current fiscal year 2081/82 from Shrawan to Poush.
According to Office Chief Shrestha, in the first six months of the current fiscal year, Rs 173.82 million was collected from the issuance of driver’s licenses, Rs 45.368 million from vehicle tax, Rs 45.670 million from the income of the transport sector, Rs 18.125 million from federalism, and Rs 8.250 from Beruju.
Similarly, during the same period of the current fiscal year, 1,280 motorcycles, Office Chief Shrestha informed that 2,458 new vehicles, including 513 small vehicles, 337 tempo/e-rickshaws, 321 large and medium vehicles and five tractors, have been issued. During this period, 2,163 new and 1,448 additional driving licenses have been issued to 3,611 people, Chief Shrestha informed.
Similarly, 2,984 renewals, 49 copies and 39 renewals and copies have been issued during the same period. The office had collected Rs 567.17 crore in revenue under various heads in the previous fiscal year 2080/81 and registered 4,399 vehicles.
